KTH leases apartments and rooms from student housing companies and building companies and then subleases these to the students, thus the amount of rooms is limited. Students pay rent to KTH and KTH pays rent to the property owner. Regardless if you receive accommodation through KTH or not, we recommend that you join the SSSB accommodation queue. SSSB is a public housing queue for students and you can apply 90 days before you become a student union member, which is a requirement. It is very good if you get a roon in a student residence. This is usually the case, but sometime they put up people in rented rooms at private houses which is not so good. It is really hard to find accomodation on your own.

Is health insurance covered by the programme? InnoEnergy students with a non-EU/EAA citizenship are offered the FAS+ insurance during their year of studies at KTH.
